Workflow

Your Path to Seamless Restorations

TaylorMade Smile's workflow ensures efficiency and precision:

  • Case Assessment:
Review patient records, including CBCT scans and intraoral photos, to evaluate bone structure, implant placement, and any potential challenges.
  • Treatment Planning:
Develop a comprehensive treatment plan that includes bone reduction, implant placement, and provisional restoration strategies.
  • Digital Design:
Use ExoCad to design the required objects (e.g., reduction guides, MUA guides, and provisional restorations). This ensures precise digital conversions tailored to the patient’s anatomy.
  • Bone Reduction and Implant Placement:
Perform bone reduction using a pre-designed guide, ensuring optimal implant placement for long-term success.
  • Temporary Hybrid Fabrication:
Use pre-designed digital files to create a same-day provisional hybrid. The hybrid will be printed in ON-X Tough 2, fitted onto the MUA abutments implants after surgery.
  • Hybrid Adjustment:
Make minor adjustments to the temporary hybrid to ensure a proper fit and patient comfort.
  • Patient Education:
Provide instructions on caring for the temporary hybrid and outline the steps leading to the final restoration.
  • Digital Records Review:
Reassess scans and records to design the final zirconia restoration.
  • Milling and Customization:
Mill the full-contour zirconia in-house using Aidite material, applying a micro-layer of liquid porcelain for anterior esthetics and pink porcelain for gingival areas.
  • Final Fit and Delivery:
Fit the final zirconia hybrid onto the implants, ensuring perfect occlusion, esthetics, and patient satisfaction.
